“You choose a tattoo studio for the artist, but this studio has so much more. Friendly engaging front of house staff, easy relatively cheap parking on the doorstep and lots of natural light. The decor has some great touches, with some historic flash to admire whilst your tattoo is being worked on. I would thoroughly recommend The Tattoo Workshop for first timers and old handers alike.”

”Can't recommend enough. My first tattoo so was a bit nervous, but the shop has a great vibe and is nice and clean and friendly. Stew had a couple of consultations with me whilst I figured out what I want, which turned out to be something fun, big, bold and colourful; inspired by the covers on old pulp SF magazines and paperbacks. Stew nailed it. The work looks f*ing awesome - detail is amazing, colour is outstanding. Stew gave good fee estimates for the ideas, was on budget, the work is better than I could've imagined, and the tattoo healed perfectly. To top it off he's helping me come up with some wicked ideas to extend the piece. What else can I say - fantastic experience and a huge thumbs up from me!”

‘‘Just finished my second tattoo with these guys. This one was with Les Barlow, and the whole process from designing to finishing and wrapping in clingfilm was an absolute joy. Les is such a nice and interesting bloke that I'd almost pay just to sit and chat to him! He was super patient during the design process, and came up with loads of great ideas. His actual tattooing is amazing - so pleased with what he's just done - two sittings and around 9 hours, and the result is beyond my expectations. Special mention for Alexx too, who makes a great cup of coffee and just generally makes sure that you're comfortable the whole day, thanks for making me feel so welcome.’’
